Wellness highlights at the Hotel Valserhof

At Valserhof, we always strive to offer our guests quality in all areas. We particularly rely on using South Tyrolean products throughout our hotel, and that includes in our wellness area. Where wellness holidays in South Tyrol are mentioned, wellness in Valles/Vals can also be found.

Trehs is a South Tyrolean product that extracts various cosmetic products from the Val Sarentino/Sarntal mountain pine. The raw material, the mountain pine, is grown in the wild and comes from sustainable forestry. The crop rotation from mountain pine clearing to pasture generation is documented by forestry authorities and PEFC-certified. Mountain pine oil has an antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and circulatory effect. It strengthens the body’s own defences and leads to relief in flu-like infections, asthma, joint pain, neuralgia, migraine, head pressure, sore throat, shoulder and neck stiffness. In a fragrance lamp, it improves air quality. The base oil is used for massages to relieve rheumatism, gout, muscle tension, and circulatory disorders. In contrast to other conifer oils, mountain pine oil does not irritate the kidneys.
